Representative John Vander Woude introduced a bill on Monday that proposed establishing work requirements for Medicaid Expansion and creating null and void principles that are sensitive to any change in funding for the program. This bill would have made the program, that a majority of Idahoans support, susceptible to cancellation. Medicaid Expansion should not face sideboards or restrictions. The bill was printed and received a committee hearing on Friday. A lot of folks showed up to show their opposition and voice their support for an implementation of Medicaid Expansion without sideboards or restrictions. Thank you to all those who came to testify.
